Autumn Voices is an online community for later life creatives and those interested in issues that affect creative ageing. We are not yet a formally recognised charity or social enterprise, but we are working towards that and we currently receive a small level of National Lottery Awards for All funding. We use that to pay two part time team members to support the volunteer-founders to run Autumn Voices. This includes developing and maintaining our website and its content, running our social media accounts and other marketing activities to build our audience and membership, and offering annual writing competitions.

As we explore future funding options, a donation would help to support our ongoing work and develop new activities to benefit and connect our community. We appreciate donations of any amount through our secure online payment option.

The Autumn Voices website would not have come into being, nor continued to grow without the help and support of a great many people. My thanks are due to:

Creative Scotland for funding the Autumn Voices project, of which this website is one part.

Luminate: Scotland’s Festival of Creative Ageing for support, encouragement, advice, contacts and much else. In particular, I would like to thank its director, Anne Gallacher for her interest in everything connected to Autumn Voices.

Lapidus Scotland for support, advice and expertise for the project as a whole and for its input to this website.

Larry Butler director of Lapidus and editor/owner of Playspace Publications which will publish the book, Autumn Voices: Scottish writers talk about their creativity in later life. It was Larry who first suggested starting a website in support of the Autumn Voices project.
