Autumn Voices invites outline proposals from individuals for projects which help to build partnerships in local and online communities by involving older people (those aged 60+) of local organisations in creative activities.

The kinds of local organisations we have in mind include care homes, U3A, Men’s Shed, reading groups, arts clubs, Dementia Support Club, Grey Matters Club or any other local organisations which are suitable for meeting our aims.
We are seeking proposals which
- match Autumn Voices’ aim of celebrating creativity in later life;
- involve, engage and empower older people;
- promote equality, diversity and inclusion;
- are cost-effective;
- take place online and / or face-to-face;
- can feasibly be carried out.
- Each proposal should include
- an outline of your idea (300 words max)
- why you wish to work with this local community / local organisation (300 words max)
- evidence that the community / organisation would be willing to work with you
- a brief CV or biography (max. 2 pages A4)
Up to three outline proposals will be selected. Successful applicants will receive £400 to develop a detailed proposal, with a view to Autumn Voices applying for funding for the project.
Timescale:
- Deadline for submitting proposals: 09.00 on Friday 27 March.
- Interviews of shortlisted applicants will be held in the w/c 6 April.
- Detailed proposals should be completed by 15 May.
This call-out echoes a similar one we did in late 2021, which resulted in Autumn Voices securing funding for three projects: Voice Eye Hand, Tales of Birnam & Dunkeld, and Here We Are!
Here’s hoping we can repeat the trick!
